The P-8A Poseidon is an armed intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft currently being fielded by the U.S. Navy. Alpha Research and Technologies currently provides support for the P-8A via their Secure Network Server (SNS) package.

The ART SNS is a security device, which is used to manage the flow of classified information between secure network clients on the aircraft with different security levels. The SNS is housed in a 28 VDC 2U ruggedized chassis and installed into a 19-inch equipment rack. The SNS Chassis is designed to receive messages from higher security domains and process them in accordance with a pre-approved ruleset and route the messages to lower level security domains. The SNS receives and transmits messages via eight (8) 1000Base-T ruggedized Ethernet interfaces. It employs a solid state hard drive (SSHD) that has security capabilities that comply with DoD 5220.22-M.
